The Shield Knot is a celtic amulet that has been used as an protection from evil. It can protect from material evil as also from spiritual, like for example evil spirits. The 4 sides symbolizes the 4 counties of the world : east,west,north and east, and at the same time the 4 elements and their spirits or angels. The main point of the 4 sides in the shield is that it protects its wearer or user from harm that can come from any side.

Pentagram can be used as a talsiman for protection or as something that can help you reach balance. 5 points of the star represent 5 elements : earth,water,air,fire and spirit. These elements also represent 4 worlds in the quabalistic tree of life, which are :Assiah(The Material World,earth and body of a human), Atziluth(The Archetypal World and the intellect), Briah(Creative World and the emotions) and Yetrizah(Formative World and the will). By knowing this, the real power of the pentagram can be unlocked and the understanding of its abilities to effect every part of ourselves can be used to help with material,emotional,intellectual or will problems that balance could be established.

I can make both "Rising" and "Falling" or reversed pentagrams.

This seven-pointed star has a lot of stories and meanings. Many consider it as a symbol to draw luck or magick because of the number 7. 7 is also a number that represents universal balance. The septagram is important in Western kabbalah, where it symbolizes the sphere of Netzach, the seven planets, the seven alchemical metals, the seven days of the week, the seven visible colors in a rainbow, the seven notes in a musical scale,the seven levels of heaven and the seven wonders of thie ancient world. Additionally, there are seven chakras in the human body.


This talisman is interesting, because when I made it, it already had a strong energy of itself, that can be felt, without any charging so it is a little bit special.

I have created this blog to upload and share my handmade and charged amulets and talismans. For those who don't know what an amulet or talisman is, here is some theory :  An amulet can be any object but its most important characteristic is its alleged power to protect its owner from danger or harm. Amulets are different from talismans as a talisman is believed to bring luck or some other benefit, though it can offer protection as well.

Amulets and talismans that I have made from caly will be charged with energy trough such rituals as the Lesser Banishing Ritual of The Pentagram or Middle Pillar Ritual. Some amulets and talismans may require other ritual. This is main reason why they are ,in my opinion, better than those made in factories. Factory made amulets and talismans do not have anything magical about them until they are cleaned,charged and activated and therefore they do not fulfill their purpose as a tool to help a person.
